2 Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on SH 110 near Troup

Two Killed in Troup Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 110

Troup, Texas (August 13, 2020) – Two people were killed, and another was injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night near Troup, according to DPS.

The fatal crash happened just before 9:45 p.m., August 11, on State Highway 110.

DPS said a 2015 Hyundai Accent was traveling northbound on the improved shoulder of the highway when it attempted to make a U-Turn and was hit by a northbound Kia Optima.

The Accent driver and his passenger were taken to the hospital where they later died.

The Optima driver sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
