2 Injured in Seguin Collision on FM 725 at I-10

Seguin, Texas (June 21, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized after being involved in a two-vehicle accident on Thursday afternoon in Seguin, according to the authorities..

The crash, which was reported around 12:58 p.m., June 20, occurred on FM 725 at the Interstate 10 underpass.

A Mazda 3 heading south on FM 725 tried to turn onto the I-10 underpass and was struck by an 18-wheeler traveling northbound.

Firefighters responded to the incident and extricated a passenger who was trapped in the Mazda. The victim was flown to Ascension Seton Hays in Kyle. The Mazda driver was transported by ambulance to Seton Hays. There was no update on the conditions of the patients.

The driver and passenger of the big rig was unhurt.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
