Kaitlyn Kotzman Killed in Dallas Two-Vehicle Crash on Mountain Creek Parkway

Dallas, Texas (October 7, 2020) – Two people were killed, and three others were injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday night in southwestern Dallas, according to police.

The fatal crash happened just before midnight, October 3, in the 2100 block of Mountain Creek Parkway, near west Oak Cliff and the Mountain Creek area.

Police said a 21-year-old woman was driving westbound when she rear-ended another car.

Kaitlyn Kotzman and Karina de la Rosa, who were first-year students at Dallas Baptist University, were killed in the crash. They were in the vehicle that was rear-ended.

Three other students sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash.

The 21-year-old driver was uninjured in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
