Clayton Shelden Killed in Lubbock Pedestrian Accident on Loop 289

Lubbock, Texas (November 29, 2022) – The man who was injured earlier this month in a pedestrian crash in North Lubbock has died, according to the police.

Clayton Shelden, 36, was pronounced on November 21.

The accident happened just after midnight, November 17, in the 4900 block of North Loop 289.

Police said Shelden was attempting to cross the access road of the Loop when he was struck by a westbound vehicle.

Shelden was taken to UMC for treatment, where he later died on Monday, November 21.

No other injuries were reported.

The police are investigating the crash.
