4 Injured, Dog Killed in Jones County Two-Vehicle Crash on Hwy 277 at Beltway North

Jones County, Texas (August 17, 2019) – Four people were injured and a dog was killed in a two-vehicle crash Friday evening in Jones County, according to the authorities.

The crash happened around 6:45 p.m. August 16, on Hwy 277 at Beltway North.

DPS said a vehicle was heading westbound on FM 3034 when it ran stop sign, drove across the northbound lane of Hwy 277 and was t-boned by another vehicle.

All four people involved in the crash were taken to Hendrick Medical Center. A little girl was among the injured victims and was severely injured.

A little Yorkie in one of the vehicles was killed in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
