2-Month-Old Infant Killed, Jeremy Ray Lizenbee and Kendra Robinson Injured in Coleman County Two-Vehicle Crash at N. Colorado Street and U.S. 84 Bypass

Coleman County, Texas (May 11, 2020) – A 2-month-old baby was killed, and two adults were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Mother’s Day in Coleman County, a local news source reported.

The deadly crash occurred on May 10, at the intersection of N. Colorado Street and the U.S. 84 bypass.

Police said a 2004 gray Jeep Liberty, towing a small utility trailer, was heading eastbound on Colorado Street when it failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign at the intersection and was hit by a 2017 Ford F-150, which was traveling southbound on the U.S. 84 bypass.

The impact pushed the jeep into a ditch where it rolled over.

The jeep was occupied by two adults and the 2-month-old baby.

The adults, Jeremy Ray Lizenbee, 33, of Kerrville, and 21-year-old Kendra Robinson, were taken to Coleman County Medical Center and were later airlifted to Hendrick Medical Center in unknown conditions. They were not wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

The infant also from Kerrville was taken to Coleman County Medical Center where they were pronounced dead. They were not secured in a safety seat at the time of the crash.

The Ford driver was uninjured in the crash.

The Coleman Police Department is investigating the crash.

We wish Jeremy Ray Lizenbee and Kendra Robinson quick recovery.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
