56-Year-Old Man, 37-Year-Old Woman and 18-Year-Old Woman Injured in Amarillo Car Accident on Hillside Road
Amarillo, Texas (April 26, 2019) – Three drivers were hospitalized Thursday afternoon after a traffic accident in south Amarillo, according to a local news report.
The crash occurred at around 3:00 p.m. Thursday, April 25 in the 4200 block of Hillside Road.
As per the report, a 56-year-old man was driving his vehicle eastbound in the westbound lane of Hillside Road when he struck a vehicle operated by a 37-year-old woman and then struck another car driven by an 18-year-old woman.
All three drivers sustained possible life-threatening injuries and were transported to a hospital.
According to the police, alcohol was a factor in the collision and charges are pending.
The crash remains under investigation.
