3 Injured in 3-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 10 in Austin

Three People Injured in Austin Crash on Interstate 10 near St. Johns Avenue

Austin, Texas (April 12, 2022) – Three people were injured in a Monday night accident in central Austin, according to a local news report.

The crash occurred on Interstate 35 near St. Johns Avenue on Monday, April 11.

As per the report, three vehicles collided on the northbound side of the interstate. Details on what led up to the collision were not immediately available.

A total of four people were injured as a result of the crash. Two patients were taken by ambulance to a hospital, one with serious injuries and the second with non-life-threatening injuries.

A third person declined hospitalization.

The northbound lanes of Interstate 35 were blocked due to the crash. Motorists were being urged to seek an alternate route.

No further details about the crash were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
