Three Injured in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash at Old Spanish Trail and Spur 5

Houston, Texas (June 9, 2021) – Three people were injured Monday night in two-vehicle crash southeast of Houston, according to officials.

The crash happened around 11:00 p.m., June 7, at the intersection of Old Spanish Trail and Spur 5.

Officials said two women were traveling westbound on Old Spanish Trail when they attempted to turn southbound onto Spur 5 but had a red light. They turned against the red light and were hit by an eastbound truck.

Both women and the truck driver were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The Houston Police Department is investigating the crash.
