3 Injured in Head-On Crash on Highway 4 in Rio Grande Valley

Three Injured in Rio Grande Valley Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 4

Rio Grande Valley, Texas (July 8, 2020) – Three people, including a toddler, were injured Tuesday evening in a head-on collision in Rio Grande Valley, according to a local news source.

The crash occurred around 5:54 p.m. on July 7, on Highway 4.

According to the report, a white jeep SUV was traveling westbound when it swerved into the oncoming lane and crashed head-on into a Brown Chevy SUV.

The Jeep driver was taken to Valley Baptist with broken bones. Her 2-year-old passenger was taken to the hospital with minor scratches for observation.

The Chevy driver was taken to Valley Regional with unknown injuries.

 The crash remains under investigation.
