One Killed in San Marcos Pedestrian Accident on I-35 near Aquarena Springs Drive

San Marcos, Texas (December 24, 2019) – A person was killed Monday morning in a pedestrian accident in San Marcos, according to a local news source.

The accident occurred around 6:10 a.m. December 23, on I-35, just north of Aquarena Springs Drive.

Police said the pedestrian was attempting to cross the interstate when they were struck by several vehicles.

The victim was killed in the crash.

The crash closed northbound I-35 just north of Uhland Road for several hours. The highway has since been reopened.

An investigation is underway.
