Daniel Saiz Killed in Pedestrian Crash on 66th Street in Lubbock

Daniel Saiz Killed in Lubbock Pedestrian Accident on 66th Street near I-17

Lubbock, Texas (June 10, 2021) – A 44-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian accident Tuesday morning in Lubbock, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened just after 11:30 a.m., on June 8, in the 100 block of 66th Street, just east of Interstate 17.

Police said Daniel Saiz was standing along the south side of the street when he walked in front of a pickup truck and was hit.

Saiz was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, where he later died.

No other details were provided.

An investigation is underway.
