Three Injured in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash on Main Street at Pulliam Street

San Angelo, Texas – Three people were injured on Thursday in a two-vehicle crash in San Angelo, according to a local news source.

The crash happened on February 15, in the area of Main Street and Pulliam Street.

According to the report, a white Ford truck was traveling southbound on Main Street and was attempting to turn left onto Pulliam Street. The driver did not see a patrol officer who was traveling northbound on Main Street en route to a call, causing the vehicles to collide.

The officer was not using their vehicle’s lights or sirens at the time of the crash.

The two occupants in the Ford and the officer in the patrol vehicle were seen by medical personnel at the scene and released.

The Ford driver was cited for failure to yield right-of-way while turning left.

The crash remains under investigation.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

There are many different reasons why automobile, pedestrian, 18-wheeler, bicycle, and motorcycle accidents occur, including driver negligence, driver inattention, texting and driving, speeding, fatigue, failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, or private drive, running a red light, and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. While the factors listed above are the main causes of most accidents, there may also be other factors involved, which is why it’s important that an investigation be conducted before evidence disappears, especially in cases involving a fatality.  At Joel A. Gordon & Associates, we will act quickly to secure accident scene photos, interview witnesses, obtain police records, and secure other valuable evidence needed to win your case.  Call now for a free consultation.
