Man Seriously Injured in Motorcycle Crash on FM 3092 near Gainesville

Oklahoma Man Critically Injured in Gainesville Motorcycle Crash on FM 3092

Gainesville, Texas (June 18, 2020) – According to a local news source, a 42-year-old Oklahoma man was critically injured Monday evening in a motorcycle accident outside Gainesville.

The crash was reported just after 6:20 p.m. on June 15, on FM 3092.

Authorities said the man was riding a motorcycle southbound on the highway when he passed a car in the no-passing zone and collided with a northbound vehicle.

The impact ejected the man from the motorcycle. He was airlifted to Medical City Denton in critical condition. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

According to a Medical City Denton representative, the man was in the ICU as of Wednesday afternoon.

The driver of the car declined medical treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
