1 Killed, Nine Injured in Bay City Multi-Vehicle Crash on FM 457
Bay City, Texas (January 20, 2019) – A 4-year-old girl was killed on Friday in a four-vehicle crash which left nine other people injured including children in Bay City, according to the DPS.
The fatal crash happened at an unspecified time on Friday, January 18, on FM 457.
DPS said a driver was heading southbound on FM 457 when he crashed into two northbound vehicles. The impact pushed the northbound vehicles into a fourth vehicle.
The 4-year-old girl was declared dead at the scene. Nine people were injured in the crash including a 5-year-old and the driver who caused the collision.
The girl was in the car with a 2-year-old, 6-year-old and 8-year-old and none of them was wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
