44-Year-Old Man Killed in Bicycle Accident on South Wayside Drive in Houston

Houston, Texas – According to the police, a 44-year-old man was killed on Tuesday in a bicycle accident in Houston.

The deadly accident happened around 6:50 p.m., April 2, in the 2900 block of South Wayside Drive at Brock Road.

Police said the man was riding his bicycle northbound in the southbound lane when a black Chevrolet Tahoe that was leaving a stop sign from Brock Road and was making a left-hand turn onto South Wayside Drive struck him.

The man was taken to a local hospital where he later died. His name has not been released.

The driver of Tahoe, a 61-year-old man, showed no signs of intoxication. He was questioned and released.

The police are investigating the crash.
