San Antonio, Texas (February 22, 2021) – Five people were injured early Monday morning in a traffic collision involving an ambulance in San Antonio, according to police.

The crash happened around 2:30 a.m., at the intersection of Culebra Road and Les Harrison.

Police said a car made a turn at the intersection and hit a San Antonio city ambulance that was carrying a patient to a hospital.

The impact caused the ambulance to run over the median on Culebra and hit a wrought iron fence, knocking it down and damaging part of it.

Both EMS workers in the ambulance and the patient were taken to the hospital for treatment. A man and a woman in the car were also taken to the hospital for treatment.

None of the injuries were serious.

The police are investigating the crash.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
