Five Injured in Fort Bend County Three-Vehicle Crash on Fort Bend Tollway at FM 2234

Fort Bend County, Texas (August 5, 2020) – Five people, including two children, were injured in a three-vehicle crash Tuesday evening in Fort Bend County, according to deputies.

The crash happened around 6:00 p.m., August 4, in the northbound lanes of the Fort Bend Tollway at FM 2234.

Deputies said a silver Porsche with a flat tire was being followed by a relative’s family, a mother, father, and their two children.

The family’s vehicle was then rear-ended by a utility truck, pushing it into the Porsche in front of them.

The two children, aged 4 and 8, were airlifted to the hospital in critical condition.

The mother, father, and the Porsche driver were also taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The truck driver was uninjured in the crash.

The northbound lanes of the tollway were closed following the crash.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
