5-Year-Old Boy Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run on Elsie Faye Heggins Street in Dallas

Dallas, Texas – A 5-year-old boy was seriously injured Sunday night in a hit-and-run accident in Dallas, according to the police.

The accident happened around 11:00 p.m., March 31, in the 2600 block of Elsie Faye Heggins Street just west of Malcolm X Boulevard.

Police said the boy was crossing the street with an adult when he was struck by a westbound gold four-door vehicle, which was traveling in the right lane.

The vehicle fled the scene heading westbound on Elsie Faye Heggins Street after the accident.

The boy was seriously injured in the crash.
