Motorcyclist Injured After Rear-Ending Truck at Wadley Avenue and Highsky Drive in Midland

Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Midland Crash at Wadley Avenue and Highsky Drive

Midland, Texas (September 15, 2023) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a rear-end collision early Friday morning at a Midland intersection, according to the Midland Police Department.

The major-accident occurred at about 1:17 a.m. in the area of Wadley Avenue and Highsky Drive.

Midland police said a 2003 Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling westbound in the 4000 block of Wadley Avenue in the inside lane when the rider failed to control speed and crashed into the back end of a 2007 Dodge truck.

The unidentified motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital. The driver of the truck did not suffer any injuries.

No further details were immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
