Man Hospitalized after Fort Worth Crash on Beach Street and East Freeway

Fort Worth, Texas (March 1, 2023) – A man was hospitalized in critical condition following a three-vehicle crash that happened Tuesday evening in Fort Worth, according to the Fort Worth Police.

The crash happened at around 7:20 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, at the intersection of the Northbound lanes of Beach Street and the Westbound exit lanes of the East Freeway.

The Fort Worth Police said a vehicle was traveling westbound on the East Freeway and exited onto Beach Street when the driver failed to yield to oncoming traffic and was hit in the driver’s side by another vehicle that was heading northbound in the right lane of Beach Street.

A third vehicle was traveling northbound in the left lane of Beach Street and was hit on the passenger side after the previous collision.

The driver of the westbound vehicle, an adult victim, suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital in critical condition.

The occupants of the other two vehicles heading northbound on Beach Street were evaluated on the scene by paramedics and were hospitalized for treatment.

No other information was provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
