Terryn Strahan Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on Congress Avenue

Austin, Texas (September 24, 2021) – The woman who was killed on Sunday in a hit-and-run accident in downtown Austin has been identified as Terryn Dee Strahan, 52, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 8:16 p.m., September 19, in the 5100 block of South Congress Avenue.

Police said Strahan was walking southbound when she was struck by a northbound vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

Strahan was taken to the hospital, where she died on September 20.
