53-Year-Old Man Killed in Corpus Christi Construction Accident on Princess Drive

Corpus Christi, Texas (August 29, 2021) – According to the police, a 53-year-old man was killed Wednesday afternoon in a construction accident in Corpus Christi.

The deadly accident happened around 12:50 p.m., August 25, in the 500 block of Princess Drive.

Police said the man was driving a piece of construction equipment when he backed into an empty pool. He was pinned by the construction equipment and was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

No other details were provided.

An investigation is underway.
