7 Killed in Head-On Crash on FM 2722 in Comal County

Seven Killed in Comal County Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 2722

Comal County, Texas (January 24, 2023) – Seven people were killed on Sunday in a head-on collision in Comal County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The fatal crash happened on January 22, on FM 2722, near Buffalo Springs Crossing.

DPS said a black Ford F-150 veered into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into a black Chrysler Aspen.

The adult driver and passenger in the Ford were killed in the crash. The three adults and two juveniles in the Chrysler were also killed.

The lone survivor, a juvenile, was taken to University Hospital for treatment.

No other details were provided.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
