70-Year-Old Woman Seriously Injured in Texarkana Pedestrian Accident on Super One Parking Lot; Lorin Molina Arrested

Texarkana, Texas (October 1, 2021) – A woman has been arrested following a hit-and-run accident that left a 70-year-old woman seriously injured in July in Texarkana, according to the police.

Lorin Molina, 26, was arrested Thursday afternoon, September 30.

The accident happened on July 2, in a Super One parking lot.

Police said Molina was driving a smart car when she backed up to the elderly woman who was walking to her car. 

Molina ran over the woman, dragged her for several feet under her car before fleeing the scene.

The victim was airlifted to a Dallas hospital with serious injuries.

Molina was arrested on Thursday on charges of leaving the scene of an accident involving serious bodily injury.

Investigators said Molina’s vehicle registration had been transferred to one of her friends who lives in Arkansas just a few days after the crash.

An investigation is underway.
