72-Year-Old Woman Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on SH 130 in Travis County

Travis County, Texas – A 72-year-old woman was killed Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in northeastern Travis County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 2:11 p.m., March 28, on SH 130.

DPS said the woman was driving a Honda southbound on the highway when, for unknown reasons, she traveled from the left side of the road into the median. She then traveled back onto the southbound lanes and struck a truck towing a trailer.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

The truck driver was uninjured in the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
