74-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured in Pedestrian Crash near Chihuahua and McPherson Avenue in Laredo

74-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured in Central Laredo Pedestrian Crash near Chihuahua and McPherson Avenue 

Laredo, Texas – A 74-year-old man was seriously injured Wednesday morning in a pedestrian accident in Central Laredo, according to the police.

The accident happened around 10:26 a.m., December 27, near 1100 Chihuahua and McPherson Avenue.

Police said the man was crossing the street when he was struck by a white Toyota Tundra.

The truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. He told officers he did not see the man due to the glare of the sun. 

The victim was taken to LMC in serious condition. 

The Laredo Police Department’s Crash Team is investigating the crash.
