9-Year-Old Boy Killed in Grand Prairie Pedestrian Accident on Mayfield Road

Grand Prairie, Texas (September 13, 2021) – According to the police, a 9-year-old boy was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday afternoon in Grand Prairie.

The deadly accident happened around 2:15 p.m., September 11, in a private parking lot in the 2600 block of Mayfield Road.

Police said the boy was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot.

The boy was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.

Further details regarding the accident were not available.

The police are conducting the investigation.
