Adam Attebury Killed in SW Austin Pedestrian Accident on Highway 290 near West William Cannon Drive; Jacob Sussman Arrested

Austin, Texas – A pedestrian was fatally hit by an intoxicated driver Wednesday morning in Southwest Austin, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened on February 14, on Highway 290 near West William Cannon Drive.

Police said 41-year-old Jacob Sussman was driving a pickup truck when he rear-ended an SUV and then hit 58-year-old Adam Attebury.

Attebury was killed in the crash. He was homeless and lived near where he was killed.

The SUV driver was uninjured in the crash, remained at the scene, and cooperated with the investigators.

Sussman was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter.

The police are investigating the crash.
