One Killed in Copperas Cove Train Accident on Wolfe Road
Copperas Cove, Texas (January 17, 2023) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a train on Sunday in Copperas Cove, according to the City of Copperas Cove and the Copperas Cove Police Department.
The fatal wreck took place at the railroad crossings at Wolfe Road on Sunday, January 15.
Authorities said the pedestrian was hit by the train at the railroad crossings at Wolfe Road.
The pedestrian, whose name was withheld pending next of kin, died in the crash.
Police closed the railroad crossings at Wolfe Road, Main Street, and 1st Street as they investigated the incident.
