Aella Garcia Killed in Harris County Pedestrian Accident on South Gessner

Harris County, Texas (June 4, 2023) – An 11-year-old girl was killed Thursday morning in a pedestrian accident in Harris County, according to officials.

The deadly accident happened just after 9:00 a.m., June 1, on South Gessner.

Officials said Aella Garcia was struck by a car that had crossed the intersection with a green light.

The accident happened about 600 feet from Garcia’s family’s condominium.

Garcia was killed in the crash.

No other details regarding the crash were provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
