Thomas Toledo Injured in Dallas Pedestrian Accident at McKee and Botham Jean Boulevard; Keandre Nash Arrested

Dallas, Texas – According to the authorities, a pedestrian was injured on New Year’s Day in a crash involving a DWI driver in Dallas.

The crash happened around 2:30 a.m., January 1, at the intersection of McKee and Botham Jean Boulevard.

Authorities said 26-year-old Keandre Nash was driving when he was involved in a two-vehicle crash before hitting a motorcycle on the sidewalk. Nash also struck 30-year-old Thomas Toledo who was standing beside his motorcycle.

Toledo was taken to Parkland Hospital in Dallas where he underwent two surgeries amputations to clean up his leg. Toledo’s family is now raising money for medical expenses. 

Nash was arrested at the scene and charged with intoxicated assault with a vehicle.

An investigation is underway.
