Allison Hollingshead Banks Killed in Rear-End Crash on I-35 in Austin
Allison Hollingshead Banks ID’d as Woman Killed in Austin Car Crash on Interstate 35
Austin, Texas (December 12, 2019) – The woman who died two days after being involved in a rear-end crash on Saturday in Austin has been identified as 34-year-old Allison Hollingshead Banks, according to the police.
The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. December 7, in the 9800 block of northbound I-35.
Police said a white Freightliner truck towing a white Great Dane semi-trailer was broken down and was parked in the outside shoulder of the freeway and that’s when it was rear-ended by a black Ford Edge driven by Banks.
Banks was taken to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center where she died on Monday, December 9.
An investigation is ongoing.
