Motorcyclist Injured in Garbage Truck Crash on Perrin Beitel in San Antonio

Man Seriously Injured in San Antonio Motorcycle Crash on Perrin Beitel near Clear Spring

San Antonio, Texas – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon in a crash involving a garbage truck in San Antonio’s Northeast Side, according to the police.

The crash happened around noon, March 5, in the 9700 block of Perrin Beitel near the intersection of Clear Spring.

Police said a man was riding a motorcycle approaching the intersection when a garbage truck entered his viewpoint. The man tried to brake but ended up crashing underneath the garbage truck.

The garbage truck driver remained at the scene to render aid to the motorcyclist.

The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.
