Frank Briones ID’d as Person Killed in El Paso Crash at Border Highway and Zaragoza Road
El Paso, Texas (February 21, 2019) – The person who was killed Tuesday night in a traffic accident at an intersection in El Paso has been identified as Frank Anthony Briones, according to authorities.
The tragic wreck happened at an unspecified time Tuesday, February 19 at the intersection of Cesar Chavez Border Highway and Zaragoza Road.
Authorities said Briones was driving a BMW on the road when for an unknown reason his vehicle crashed into the rear of a semi-truck. The BMW was wedged underneath the semi-truck after the impact.
Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated Briones from his vehicle.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
The crash remains under investigation.
