Amanda Ysasaga Killed in Plano Crash on Bush Turnpike near Preston Road

Plano, Texas (July 23, 2019) – A driver was killed in a traffic accident Sunday night in Plano, a local news source reported.

The collision took place around 9:15 p.m. July 21, in the eastbound lanes of the Bush Turnpike near Preston Road.

DPS said a Nissan car, operated by 28-year-old Amanda Ysasaga, was disabled in the roadway and she got out to check on it. A Volvo SUV then hit the Nissan car and Ysasaga.

Ysasaga was killed in the crash.

The SUV driver sustained minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
