Amy Pool Hit, Killed by Truck at Southwest Parkway and Fairway in Wichita Falls

Amy Pool Killed in Wichita Falls Pedestrian Accident at Southwest Parkway and Fairway

Wichita Falls, Texas (June 24, 2022) – A woman was fatally hit by a truck early Thursday morning in Wichita Falls, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 12:30 a.m., June 23, at the intersection of Southwest Parkway and Fairway.

Police said a truck was traveling eastbound in the center lane of Southwest Parkway while Amy Jeanette Pool, 45, of Wichita Falls, was walking southbound across the intersection from Fairway.

Pool walked into the eastbound lanes of Southwest Parkway, and both she and the truck took evasive action, but she was still hit by the truck.

Pool was taken to the hospital, where she later died.

The police are investigating the crash.
