Ana Gonzalez- Ruiz Killed in Midland County Two-Vehicle Crash on CR 130 at SH 349

Midland County, Texas (December 23, 2022) – A woman was killed Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Midland County, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened on December 20, at the intersection of County Road 130 and State Highway 349.

Authorities said Ana Gonzalez- Ruiz, of New Mexico, was driving eastbound on CR 130 towards the stop sign at the intersection. Ruiz ran the stop sign, and her vehicle was struck by another vehicle that was traveling southbound on SH 349.

Ruiz was taken to Medical Center Hospital, where she later died. She was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
