Art Cadena Killed in El Paso Pedestrian Accident on Dyer Street

Art Cadena ID’d as Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Vehicle on Dyer Street in El Paso

El Paso, Texas (February 8, 2023) – El Paso Police have identified the pedestrian who died after being struck by a vehicle last month in northeast El Paso as Art Cadena, 33, of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.

The deadly crash happened in the 11100 block of Dyer Street on January 19.

El Paso Police said Cadena was walking in the southbound lanes of Dyer Street when he was hit by a 2009 Honda Accord.

Cadena was transported to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
