Girl Hit, Injured by Truck on Southcross Ranch Road in San Antonio

18-Year-Old Girl Critically Injured in San Antonio Hit-and-Run Crash on Southcross Ranch Road

San Antonio, Texas (October 10, 2022) – An 18-year-old girl was critically injured after she was struck by hit-and-run driver Saturday night in San Antonio, according to the San Antonio police.

The crash happened at around 8:45 p.m. Saturday, October 8, in the 200 block of Southcross Ranch Road.

Police said the 18-year-old girl was walking on the street when she was hit by a truck whose driver fled the scene.

The woman sustained a right femur and nasal bone fracture and was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center, where she was listed in serious but stable condition.

Police are still looking for the hit-and-run driver.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
