Cedar Hill Man Arturo Parra Vega Dies in Midland County Crash on SH 349 and West County Road 60

Midland County, Texas (June 28, 2019) – A man from Cedar Hill was killed in a crash with a big rig on Thursday evening in Midland County.

According to the DPS, the collision was reported around 5:37 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, on SH 349 and West County Road 60.

DPS said a Chevy pickup truck was at a stop sign on westbound West County Road 60 when it pulled out into the intersection and was T-boned by an 18-wheeler.

The driver of the pickup, Arturo Parra Vega, 52, of Cedar Hill, was killed in the crash. His three passengers were hospitalized with minor injuries.

The driver of the 18-wheeler was unhurt.

The DPS is investigating the incident.
