Shannon Miles ID’d as Man Killed in Odessa Pedestrian Accident at 42nd Street and Golder Avenue
Odessa, Texas (July 11, 2022) – Authorities have identified the man who died Sunday night after he was struck by two vehicles at an intersection in Odessa as Shannon Miles, 53, of Odessa.
The deadly crash happened at about 11:28 p.m. Sunday, July 10, at the intersection of 42nd Street and Golder Avenue.
Authorities said Miles and several other men were walking southbound trying to cross 42nd Street when Miles was hit by a vehicle that was heading westbound in the outside lane.
Miles was then struck by a second vehicle.
Paramedics pronounced Miles deceased at the scene.
Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
