35-Year-Old Woman Killed in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Gibbs-Sprawl Road near Rittiman Road

San Antonio, Texas – A 35-year-old woman was killed Friday night in a head-on collision in San Antonio’s Northeast Side, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 8:30 p.m., February 2, on Gibbs-Sprawl Road near Rittiman Road.

Police said the woman was driving a sedan when she veered into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into an SUV.

The impact pushed the sedan onto the embankment near the railroad tracks.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
