At Least 1 Hospitalized after Panola County Crash at FM 9 and Highway 79

Panola County, Texas (June 15, 2019) – At least one person was hospitalized Friday afternoon after a traffic crash at an intersection in Panola County, according to a local news report.

The accident occurred just before 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 14 at the intersection of FM 9 and Highway 79.

As per the report, a red Dodge Ram 1500 collided with a small sedan at the Panola County intersection for unspecified reasons. The front end of the pickup and the driver side of the sedan sustained heavy damage in the crash.

At least one person was transported to an area hospital with unspecified injuries.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
