At Least 1 Injured After Car, Pickup Truck Collide on Winters Freeway in Abilene

At Least One Hospitalized after Abilene Crash on Winters Freeway

Abilene, Texas (April 14, 2022) – At least one person was sent to a hospital following a Wednesday afternoon traffic crash in south Abilene, according to a local news source.

The 2:30 p.m. collision happened in the southbound 3500 block of the Winters Freeway.

As per the report, a pickup collided with a car in the southbound lane of the Winters Freeway.

Authorities said at least one patient was transported to a hospital in unknown condition.

The crash snarled traffic in the southbound lane of the Winters Freeway.

The crash remains under investigation.
