One Injured in Wichita Falls Motorcycle Crash on Barnett Road near Kovarik Road

Wichita Falls, Texas (July 16, 2022) – One person was injured Friday afternoon in a motorcycle crash in Wichita Falls, according to the police.

The accident happened around 12:40 p.m., on July 15, on Barnett Road near Kovarik Road.

Police said a truck and a motorcycle were traveling northbound on Barnett Road. The truck reportedly stopped to turn westbound onto Kovarik Road, and the motorcyclist took an evasive maneuver. The motorcycle clipped the back of the truck and then drove off the road.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition. They were not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
