At Least 1 Killed After Car Hits Parked Vehicle on Texas 195 in Williamson County

At Least One Killed in Williamson County Crash on Texas 195 near County Road 240

Williamson County, Texas (July 4, 2022) – At least one person was killed in a car crash Friday morning southeast of Florence in Williamson County, according to the Department of Public Safety.

The deadly accident occurred at about 2:20 a.m. Friday, July 1, on Texas 195 near County Road 240.

DPS said a car was traveling on the highway in an unspecified direction when, for an unknown reason, it crashed into a disabled vehicle that was parked alongside the road.

At least one person died in the crash.

The driver of the car fled the scene but was later located.

Texas DPS is investigating the crash.
