Austin Brazda Killed in Hit-and-Run on George Dieter Drive in East El Paso

Austin Brazda Killed in El Paso Bicycle Accident on George Dieter Drive near Gateway West Boulevard

El Paso Hit-and-Run, Texas (December 15, 2022) – A bicyclist was killed early Tuesday morning in a hit-and-run accident in East El Paso, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened shortly after midnight, December 13, on George Dieter Drive near Gateway West Boulevard.

Police said Austin Brazda, 26, of East El Paso, was riding a bicycle on the right southbound lane when he was struck by an unknown vehicle that was white or light-colored.

The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

Brazda was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

The authorities are looking for the hit-and-run driver.

The police are investigating the crash. Anyone with any information about the hit-and-run is asked to call police at 915-832 4400, or they may anonymously call Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 915-566-8477.
