Avyanna Caro Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Texas 121 in Bedford

Avyanna Caro ID’d as Girl Killed in Bedford Crash on Texas 121 near Cheek Sparger Road Off-Ramp

Bedford, Texas (September 26, 2022) – The 2-year-old girl who died following a two-vehicle crash on Saturday afternoon in Bedford has been identified as Avyanna Caro.

The deadly crash happened just after 3:31 p.m. Saturday, September 24 on northbound Texas 121, just north of the Cheek Sparger Road exit.

Authorities said a pickup truck, driven by  Joshua Paul Hagger, 36, of Mansfield, was speeding 24 on northbound Texas 121 when it struck a sedan.

Caro who was was a passenger in the sedan was transported to a Grapevine hospital, where she was declared dead at about 3:31 p.m.

The passengers of the sedan, including a child, sustained unspecified injuries.

Hagger was booked into the Euless Jail on Monday, and faces charges on manslaughter.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
