Coy Morris Killed in Killeen Motorcycle Crash on Veterans Memorial Boulevard at Stringer Street

Killeen, Texas (June 17, 2022) – According to the police, the man who was injured Friday night in a motorcycle crash in Killeen has died.

Coy Caleb Morris, 21, succumbed to his injuries on June 13.

The crash happened around 9:33 p.m., June 10, at the intersection of W. Veterans Memorial Boulevard and Stringer Street.

Police said a black Mercedes failed to yield the right-of-way while turning onto Stringer Street and collided with a black Honda motorcycle that was traveling eastbound in the inside lane of the 700 block of Veterans Memorial Boulevard.

The force of the impact ejected the motorcycle rider and his passenger.

Both victims were taken to local hospitals in critical condition, where the motorcycle rider, Morris, succumbed to his injuries on June 13.

The Mercedes driver was treated for minor injuries and was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

The crash remains under investigation.
